[caption id="attachment_1435" align="alignnone" width="500" caption="Ms. Chiney Marie : Photo by So Fire Models (click)"][/caption] Chiney Marie describes herself as a beauty by nature and a hustler by choice. She may not be far off the mark at all. Nature indeed put together a complex package of Afro-Caribbean, Asian, Irish and Syrian all in one nice Jamaican-American Mix. The tag Chiney is an obvious give away if you're a "Yardie". If you have Asian, namely Chinese, roots in Jamaica some where along the line you'll hear the name. When you where it well you hear it even more.

Rapper 2 Chainz experience a breakout in 2011 and in a recent interview, the Atlanta native revealed that, as his career has progressed, he’s only become more ambitious. 2 Chainz reflected on his expanding appeal and acknowledged that he’s got his eyes set on even broader success. “To me, it’s remarkable coming from where I’m from to be able to do them shows on my own. I just left Milwaukee last night, on a Sunday night, [and] for me to shut down the whole city was kinda ill,” he explained. “I’m getting booked in Las Vegas, I’m starting to get booked more in the West.”
2 Chainz also shared that seeing fellow hip hop stars Kid Cudi and Pharrell Williams’ on HBO’s “How To Make It In America” inspired him to want to take a shot at acting.
“That’s what I’m trying to get into next, [acting and soundtrack work]; maybe I need to go [Los Angeles],” he explained. “I saw ['How to Make It In America'] for the first time in my hotel room. It had Kid Cudi…Pharrell was in that sh*t. Y’all n***as holla at me, you know Forbes can see that sh*t.”

Lil Scrappy shared his feelings regarding the murder of Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin. Scrappy says that the incident ‘wake up call’ for everyone. The rapper went on a rant about violence and hip hop and how everyone should remember how long these types of things have been going on.
“That sh*t f*cked up, ’cause you can’t bring a n*gga back,” Scrappy said in a video. “It’s just a wake-up call. All that sucker sh*t’s gotta quit. N*ggas need to think. N*ggas ain’t got to be on no scared sh*t neither. N*gga gonna die regardless but it’s f*cked up when he goes before his time over some bullsh*t. … It ain’t 1994 no more, it’s 2012 sh*t — you got kids who don’t even know Tupac or Biggie or Pimp C. ‘Who is Pimp C?’ You feel me? … I just wanted to pay my respects to Slim Dunkin, RIP because I f*ck with shorty. I really f*ck with shorty and their movement.”

Mac Miller doesn’t see the benefits of signing with a major label. The indie star was featured on Forbes “30 Under 30″ list, and shared that he’s happy without being under the thumb of a powerhouse.
âSo my whole thing is, Iâm more into keeping independent because Iâm more into working with people who I know very well,â he said. âBut if I reach a point where thereâs things I canât do, which we havenât reached that point yet, but if I ever reach a point where thereâs something I canât do and I need some help with a major, who knows. Iâm not anti-major, like ‘I hate the majors.’ Iâm not that type of person.â
He also acknowledged that there will be critics who will compare him to his contemporaries for obvious reasons.
âPeople are going to call me Eminem maybe cause Iâm white, or Wiz âcause Iâm from Pittsburgh and thatâs my friend. But I donât really worry about comparisons, because when itâs all said and done, there will be no more comparisons,” he added. “Iâm a 19-year-old kid and fairly new at this.â
